Boatnik
Boatnik is an annual festival held in Riverside Park over Memorial Day weekend. Its official site says it has run for more than 65 years. The weekend includes sprint and drag boat racing, carnival rides, a parade, fireworks, a golf shoot-out, and a Monday hydroplane race and Memorial Day service.
According to the festival's site, entry is free, while the carnival, concert and Brewfest are available for separate purchase. The site is run by the Grants Pass Active Club, which says all proceeds are donated through the year to children and youth organizations in Josephine County.
